Trends
LGBTQ+ representation across OutQUORUM report cycles, and how disclosure moved from the 2024 baseline to the 2025–26 filings read for the OutQUORUM 2026 report cycle.
LGBTQ+-inclusive board disclosure by report cycle
Read this chart with care. Figures for 2021–2023 are taken directly from Out
Leadership's published reports (OutQUORUM 2021, Visibility Counts 2022, and
Progress & Possibility 2023), whose company universes and methodology evolved
between cycles — the 2021 report covered the Fortune 500 only, and NASDAQ coverage begins
in 2022. Gaps mean no comparable figure was published for that cycle. The 2024 point is
computed from this site's hand-verified 2024 baseline, and the current cycle is labeled
2026 because it reads 2025–26 filings for the OutQUORUM 2026 report cycle.
Published figures are reproduced as-is and are not restated.
2024 → 2025–26 change by dimension (all indices)
| Dimension | 2024 | 2025–26 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| LGBTQ+ | 3,204 | 2,169 | -1,035 |
| Gender | 5,853 | 6,777 | +924 |
| Race | 5,036 | 5,539 | +503 |
| Ethnicity | 5,066 | 5,218 | +152 |
| National Origin | 2,044 | 2,344 | +300 |
| Age | 3,535 | 4,177 | +642 |
| Veteran Status | 0 | 1,082 | +1,082 |
Counts are index-constituency totals (a company in multiple indices is counted in each). Veteran status was not tracked in the 2024 baseline, so its 2024 total is near zero by construction.
Methodology note on year-over-year changes. The 2024 baseline was hand-verified;
2025–26 values come from our validated detection pipeline with evidence spot-checks.
Every reported gain is audited to distinguish genuine changes in company disclosure
from measurement differences between the two collection methods. Apparent declines in some
dimensions partly reflect stricter 2025–26 evidence standards rather than boards
removing disclosure — treat single-cycle deltas with care and read the
full methodology before citing. (Placeholder text — final
